HANDS AND FEET.....

The past couple of days have truly been an experience! It is so wonderful to see God work and show his mercy~

As you may have read on my previous blog or on Stephanie's blog, or perhaps you have just been watching the news, and seen the terrible travesty of one of my preschoolers house burning down....

Well, look out because God has sent help on the way!!! The information has flown through the wind. I cannot believe the out pour of kindness! It was so great to see the mom come into the preschool today to see everything everyone had donated for them.... The best part was when Kim said, "Jessica this is all for you! Everyone gave this for your family! Take what you want.... You may have it all if you like!!"
She was definitely overwhelmed.... She could not speak just tears flowed from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks!

This whole experience has made me realize how we as Christians must band together to help those in need! Without being judgemental! There are sooo many people who are in need at this time and really what do we do..... We smile and say I will pray for you ! Don't get me wrong.... prayer is wonderful!!!! We need prayer sooo much but, I also feel Jesus wants us to be his hands and his feet and to go where he sends us!

Bev actually said today..... you have just witnessed the hands and feet of Jesus :)

You go, girl!!!! It was very awesome seeing everything on that table that was collected! I, too, was overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone! Even strangers helped which made me cry, too! It certainly was the hands and feet of God and to be a witness of it was powerful!!!! I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it!!! :)) And......we are still getting things to bring (from Grange) for the family!!!! Amazing!!!!
See ya tomorrow!!!! :)

I so happy to see all the positve work that has come from this tragedy. From the gentleman stopping to help, to all the donations, and the heartfelt prayers. We are always subject to so many negative influences and events, that to see good come from this and not just pain and sorrow,is truly God working through you all. I will pray for the family, and thank God that you all are part of my extended family!
