NEW DIET???
Well, as I sat in the kitchen at my mother in law's house on New Years Eve, what subject do you suppose came up? You guessed it..... New year's diets! Well, as I had mentioned in my previous post, it was my mother in law's birthday! So a few of us were in the kitchen discussing weight. There was a friend of the family there and he was talking about how a few years ago he was ill and had somehow came across this diet for health and nutrition. (you have to bare with me on the details as I was in and out of the room) He stated that it is a diet that is based on your blood type. He said that everyone has one of the four blood types and that each blood type should eat certain foods and not eat certain foods. That is why some people that count calories or carbs cannot loose weight! Anyways this conversation went on literally for hours! I was interested in this and have decided to research this further. If anyone has heard of this or tried it, let me know! If you haven't heard of it and are interested, let me know and I will give you info. that I have! This is suppose to be healthy and really be able to cut body fat. Please let me know any info you may have! (I know Jenny has lots of info. lol)

Never heard of it. But maybe I will in my human nutrition class this quarter? (if I don't get kicked out for my lack of human nutrition)
Diets? Don't believe in them. I believe in Doris' motto...everything in moderation!
Hey there! I would like to hear some more about it. Who knows?! This one might actually work for me! I haven't even exercised yet and it is gonna be the 3rd already. I need a diet and a workout that doesn't involve any getting up or moving around and it lets me eat what I want and when I want it! Oh, and it lets me have Dr. Pepper as much as I want! :)
Well, Heather it sounds like we are all already on your diet! lol...
I thought this was neat cause this guy was like, everyone's blood type is different and that is why there are some foods that are like poison to your body and other foods that you need. Then he said don't deprive yourself totally, he said eat what you want to on the weekend and follow the diet the other five days and you will still cleanse your body and not totally give up the foods you love.
WHAT DOES LOL MEAN.....
IT USED TO MEAN LOTS OF LOVE..
SOMEONE TELL ME !!!!
AND IT IS NICE TO KNOW SOMEONE LISTENS TO ME , MIRANDA.
THAT IS MY MOTTO.
I had heard of this diet a few years ago but never looked into it. I'm a huge fan of weight watchers. It teaches you how to eat, portion sizes, how often to eat, what you should eat, how long to exercise (raise your heart rate for a certain number of minutes---20 minutes at least), etc. I LOVE this diet! I never plan to do any other diet because this is the one that I have found to be so healthy. On weight watchers, you can eat anything you want, but you only get so many points for the whole day. You have to spend your points wisely. You quickly find out what foods are low in points and keep you feeling full the longest. I tell you what, I have never felt better in my entire life than when I was on this diet. My clothes fit.....and I mean small, cute clothes and not big baggy T-shirts like I always use to wear 'cause everything else wasn't comfortable.
I've never been a large person. Everyone who is much larger than me gave me a really hard time while I was on weight watchers because apparently, you have to be obese in order for other people to believe you should diet. HA! My goal is to never find out what it means to be obese. So, I diet when my clothes start getting tight instead of waiting until I'm huge to do something about it.
Procrastination is never a good thing. ;)
Keep in mind that a diet is a way of living and not a temporary thing. You need to find something you can live with, otherwise you won't stick with it and you'll sound like every other dieter out there who is still fat complaining they can't lose weight. Dieting on and off again is terrible for you and your body gets confused and just turns against you.
Make a goal and don't let anyone or anything stop you from reaching that goal. Then, once you've reached it, stay there!
